Finally! SPSS is now on the computers in our lab and we are now able to analyze our finding simultaneously. Because each of us are able to access SPSS individually, we are able to be efficient in our phase of analyzing by using the software to complete different assigned functions. As a group we first took the data from the excel spreadsheet and imported it into SPSS; at first we encountered an issue with the data displaying correctly. Quickly we realized that the data had to be combined into one sheet. This caused for the reordering and renaming of original rows and columns. For the test and quiz scores we ran a descriptive analysis test to determine the mean average score and the standard deviations. We also ran an ANOVA (analysis of variance test ) to determine any significant differences between the scores from the beginning of the semester to those at the end of the semester.
